Terminal Crimping (Terminal Fastening) is the process of attaching the termination element of the cables that are cut to the required dimensions and whose ends are opened. These termination elements can be: female or male sockets, female or male terminals, plugs or sockets.

Terminal crimping is an operation that requires high attention. If the terminals are driven too hard into the cable, it may cause deformation of the cable. For this reason, as Multitech Technology, we use fully automatic machines and molds in the crimping process. During the crimping process, the machine power is adjusted to prevent damage to the cable end. Terminal Crimping; It is widely used in Automotive, Electrical, Electronics and White Goods Sectors.

Crimping is done by deforming the open or closed terminal foot by squeezing it with mechanical pressure on the cable. A connection is established between the cable and the terminal in such a way that there is no gas and air permeability. This connection is an interface with such mechanical strength that the cable cannot be removed from the terminal. As is known, mechanical power and electrical efficiency work inversely. While high crimp power increases the electrical efficiency in the application, it decreases the mechanical strength.
